Your first steps into the world of Pulse Roleplay.
This guide walks brand-new players through joining Pulse RP, from creating an account to taking your first in-character actions.
Welcome to Pulse RP
Pulse RP is a serious roleplay community. Players are expected to value their characters, treat scenes with realism, and contribute positively to the city.
Creating an Account
Visit pulse-rp.com to register an account. You will use this account to manage applications, whitelist status, and community profile settings.
Joining the Discord
The Discord server is the central hub for announcements, support, and community engagement. Verify your account after joining to gain access to the full channel list.
Reading the Rules
All players must read and acknowledge the Server Rules before applying. Rule familiarity is part of the whitelist process.
Submitting an Application
Applications are filled out on the website. Be honest, descriptive, and demonstrate that you understand the basics of serious roleplay.
Creating Your Character
Once whitelisted, build a character with a clear backstory, motivations, flaws, and goals. Avoid overpowered or unrealistic concepts.
Joining the Server
Use the FiveM client to connect using the Pulse RP server link in Discord. Wait in queue if necessary — peak hours can be busy.
First Steps In-Game
- Spawn at the new player area and review the in-game tutorial.
- Withdraw starter funds from the nearest ATM.
- Find a starter job at the Job Center to earn money.
- Begin networking with other characters in-character.
Useful Commands
- /me — Perform an action in third-person.
- /do — Describe environmental detail.
- /ooc — Out-of-character chat (limited use).
- /report — Contact staff for assistance.
- /911 — Contact emergency services.
